Results of tralac’s survey

tralac has conducted more than 550 interviews in 22 African countries to better understand the cross-border trading environment. A broad range of economic activities and sectors is covered, we have feedback on products traded, non-tariff barriers, border management processes, value chain participation and utilisation of trade preferences. We are particularly interested to understand the success stories of women-led enterprises and the challenges they encounter.

Over the coming months we will be analysing this comprehensive dataset and bringing results which we hope will support the implementation of the AfCFTA and trade facilitation across the continent.
