tralac’s work in this area examines Africa’s trade in agriculture and commodities and the emerging challenges and opportunities for sustainability resulting from changes in global commodity prices and supply and demand; the use of safeguard measures to protect domestic producers and support food security on the continent; and links between agricultural trade and a sustainable global food system.
