Democratic Republic of the Congo: intra-Africa trade and tariff profile 2020

In 2020, 34% of DRC’s world exports and 20% of world imports were intra-Africa. Between 2019 and 2020, DRC’s exports to Africa declined by 30%, and imports by 23%. DRC’s intra-Africa exports and imports amounted to US$4.8 billion and US$1.3 billion in 2020, respectively. DRC’s main African trading partners are the fellow members of COMESA and SADC.
