Zambia: intra-Africa trade and tariff profile 2020
In 2020, 21% of Zambia’s world exports and 46% of world imports were intra-Africa. Between 2019 and 2020, Zambia’s exports to Africa increased by 2%, and imports declined by 27%.
Zambia’s intra-Africa exports and imports amounted to US$1.6 billion and US$2.4 billion in 2020, respectively. Zambia’s main African trading partners are the fellow members of COMESA and SADC.
