Madagascar: intra-Africa trade and tariff profile 2020
In 2020, 7% of Madagascar’s world exports and 12% of world imports were intra-Africa. Between 2019 and 2020, Madagascar’s intra-Africa exports declined by 37%, and intra-Africa imports declined by 13%.
Madagascar’s exports to and imports from Africa amounted to US$127 million and US$399 million, respectively. Madagascar's main African trading partners are COMESA and SADC members.
