Senegal: intra-Africa trade and tariff profile 2020
In 2020, 43% of Senegal’s world exports and 14% of world imports were intra-Africa. Between 2019 and 2020, Senegal’s exports to Africa declined by 6%, and imports increased by 8%.
Senegal’s intra-Africa exports and imports amounted to US$1.69 billion and US$1.12 billion in 2020, respectively. Apart from South Africa, Senegal’s main African trading partners are the fellow members of CEN-SAD and ECOWAS.
