Based in Serbia, he travels and works regularly in Sub-saharan Africa, and has a particular focus on Central African States’ investment attraction policies. Juliette Armelle Kouamo holds a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree in Trade and Business law as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Import and Export Law from the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Law and Corporate entities as well as a Bachelor of Laws in Law and Political Sciences from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. Her research interests include International Trade Law, Trade and Business Law, Trade Facilitation and Customs Modernisation in Africa.

Felix Manzi (intern)

Felix Manzi is a Law trained researcher with practical research and legal drafting experience. His research interests comprise of regulation of digital economies in emerging markets, negotiation of trade and investment agreements especially in economic integration blocks. Manzi was a Fellow at the Hansen Leadership Institute at the University of San Diego and a Wells Mountain Foundation Scholar at the University of Kigali, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree with honours in Law (LLB). Manzi served as a rapporteur at the African Union Commission on International Law in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea and as a Youth Ambassador for Rwanda Education Programme.

Mlibatisi Kunene (intern)

Mlibatisi Kunene is trade lawyer from the Kingdom of Eswatini. He holds a BCom economics degree, an LLB degree as well as an LLM in International economic law from the University of the Witwatersrand. He has lectured on a sessional basis at the Oliver Schreiner school of law and has done research on a part time basis for the Nelson Mandela institute under the school of law. His research interests are in the AfCFTA, regional integration, intellectual property, international trade and investment and ecommerce and sustainable economic development.
