tralac presented the third and final training course for 2016 for the new Judges of the COMESA Court of Justice from 19-23 September 2016.

The specialized disciplines covered by COMESA, such as competition, investment, standards, and trade remedies, are the focus of this training programme.

The course is designed to put all the issues in the context of the justiciability of these matters and the remedies that a regional court of law can provide. The development of ‘community law’ is a feature of all examples of successful regional integration, and matters pertaining to the development of ‘community law’ are also on the agenda of the course.
