In an era of ever increasing information, one of the deficiencies we have identified is the lack of dissemination of information on customs, excise, tariff and trade remedies within SACU. As a consequence all interested parties in the SACU countries are potentially adversely affected since many might not actively engage in the negotiation and deliberation of customs, excise, tariff and trade remedies matters.
In an effort to establish both an early warning system and to track the progress of investigations, tralac has devised a SACU Summary Notification. This weekly notification intends to alert interested parties and to monitor all investigations impacting it business.
The Summary notification is produced in such a manner that it highlights the most essential facts of the investigation.
For the discerning company, such information could also be tailored for the company's specific requirements.
